Summer is (nearly) upon us, and we are planning a fantastic week-long summer session between July 24-31, 2026 in Saulkrasti on the beautiful Latvian coast! An NSU Summer session hosts ten parallel study circles with different themes and activities, as well as a range of cultural, artistic and social activities.
Accommodation (full board) is organised by NSU and included in the conference participation fee. The costs are as follows:
Scholarship: 100€, Shared 4-bed rooms with shared bathroom [to be considered for a grant, please see the page of the study circle you would like to attend]. Grant recipients are expected to contribute to some extent to the organisation of the summer session, by lending a hand when needed and/or by writing a blog post.
Institutional price/any room type: 1250€ (participants with institutional funding)
Institutional price (PhD)/any room type: 900€ (participants with institutional funding)
Single room: 950€
Bed in double room: 700€
Double room 1 adult 1 child: 1000€
Family room 1 adult 2 children: 1200€

Partners, significant others and families are welcome at NSU. For participants with children, NSU organises a "children' s circle” with daytime activities for children between 4-14. We will be publishing a call to find Youth Leaders at the beginning of March, keep your eyes on our social media!
